Just spent the day working with Paul Hine getting the final workshop draft ready for three days of dramaturgy at Bolton Octagon next week – we’re having a read through on the Friday afternoon, so we wanted the script to be in the best possible state, and I think we’re relatively happy with it. It has been such a lovely process, having the ACE grant to be able to work with actors and work with another writer, on a piece of work that explores issues that I find really important. I’m trying really hard to simply enjoy the process and not look too far ahead, but we’re having to think about ways of producing this now, so if anyone has any idea, please do contact me! It is such a great luxury to be able to spend a whole day writing though, which is through both the ACE grant and the support from Edge Hill uni. Anyway, am absolutely knacked now, and am going home!
